端午将至，猎德涌上桨声激荡！5月10日，30多名中外友人和亲子家庭齐聚猎德国际化街区，沉浸式体验老广端午——了解端午文化、手绘个性船桨、组队挥桨竞渡，在欢声笑语中共绘“国际版”岭南风情画。

来自美国的AJ兴奋地说：“在广州生活三年，第一次划龙舟，很有意思！虽然女儿（中美混血）一开始有点抗拒，但划起来后根本停不下来！”他点赞广州的开放包容，更称这类活动“既好玩又有教育意义”。

本次活动由猎德街道广粤国际社区居委会联合社工站举办，以文化为桥，让国际友人与本土家庭共享端午节趣。点击视频，看中外友人如何用船桨“划”出跨国友谊！

As the Dragon Boat Festival approaches, the Liede Chong(Creek) came alive with splashing oars on May 10th! Over 30 international and local residents gathered in Guangzhou's Liede International Neighborhood for a cultural immersion – learning festival traditions, hand-painting paddles, and racing colorful dragon boats.

AJ from the US has lived in Guangzhou for 3 years. "This was the first time for me to paddle a dragon boat. It's really interesting," he said. "My daughter was hesitant at first but ended up loving it!" He spoke highly of the event which blends fun with cultural education.

Organized by the residents' committee of Guangyue International Community along with the local Social Worker Station, this event turned intangible heritage into cross-cultural play. Watch the video to see how residents from around the world "paddled" their way to friendship!
